My mother, Mary Bassett (Long) worked with Maude Butler at Pacific Beach during WWII.  I have a watercolor painting that Ms. Butler painted for my mother of Pansies in a pot.  My mother always treasured it and now I own it.  It is an original and is signed  with her first and last name.

I am wondering about it and if you tell me if I should go on Antiques Roadshow with it?!
