Black Lake Fishing Derby

Long Beach WA Peninsula Visitors Bureau

The Black Lake Fishing Derby marks the season opening of fishing on this stocked lake. Parents are asked to give their children the first chance at hooking a big one, at least until 11:00am. The lake remains open to shore and non-motorized boat fishermen throughout the Summer.

WHO:
Anyone can fish--no fee!
Children ages 0-14
can enter the derby

6:00am	Volunteer set up
6:30am	Pancakes!
7:00am	Onsite Registration Early registration accepted at City Hall or by fax 360-642-3155 or email to bferguson@willapabay.org
7:00am	Fishing Derby Begins
10:00am	Hot Dogs and Refreshments!
10:30am	Derby Ends – Last Fish weighed
11:00am	Prizes awarded
Grand Prize (heaviest fish) Aggregate Prize (weight of all fish caught by one participant) Ages 0-6 1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place Ages 7-10 1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place Ages 11-14 1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place And MANY door prizes!
