The Port of Ilwaco welcomes back Grays Harbor Historical Seaport tall ships. The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain sail into port May 14-19, 2008, offering public dockside tours and 3 hour adventure sails. Join in the Special Sailor’s Feast, with musical entertainment, at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, on Thursday, May 15th, 5:30 PM. Tickets $20 each; stay tuned for ticket locations.

These beautiful ships return to port June 6-8, 2008, offering public dockside tours and 3 hour adventure sails. Free educational booths on June 7th only. Additional nautical related events are being planned.

The tall ships Lynx and Bounty sail into port June 13-17, 2008. The Bounty is the replica used in the 1962 movie “Mutiny on the Bounty” staring Marlon Brando and Trevor Howard. The King’s Navy, re-enactors of British Sailors during the era of H.M.S. Bounty, will be on board, including the ship’s Captain, 1st Mate, surgeon, carpenter and tinsmith, bringing displays and demonstrations from 10 - 4 on June 7th and 14th, along with musical entertainment.
