This year Jake the Alligator man is turning 75… AGAIN! This marks the 6th annual celebration of Long Beach’s most loveable alligator man’s birthday. The festivities begin on Friday, August 3rd at the Long Beach Elk’s with Jake’s Bachelor Party.
The evening’s theme is Under the Sea. Doors open at 6:00 PM, $10 gets you in the door and includes live music, burlesque, a photo booth, dancing, and fun!!! Dinner is available as well as a full bar. Don’t forget to pick up your very own, one of a kind, event T-shirt by Vintage Roadside, they go fast!
Saturday, August 4th is fun for the entire family. Jake’s birthday party will be held at the Veteran’s Field between Funland and the Police station in downtown Long Beach starting at 11:00am. Come out and enjoy the live music, car show, Bride of Jake Pinup Contest, birthday cake, a dunk tank, the Beard’s Hollow Pirates, a bounce house, side show oddities, belly dancing and tons more! Can’t wait to see you there!

This event was the most fun! Whole families, from young (like, very young, just barely-walking young) to old (like, very old, just barely-walking old!) were out to see the bride contest and listen to the music. The cars were also really cool.
