Hot Rods line up on Howerton Way at the Port of Ilwaco to compete in a coasting competition. Cars have approximately 15 feet in which to accelerate and then coast for 200 yards. To win, a car must cross the finish line and stop closest to the line. Trophies and assorted gift certificates awarded.

The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life will be held in Ilwaco.

The Triathlon course launches from Black Lake Park in Ilwaco, WA and includes a 500 meter swim (1540'), 12.2 mile ride (19.6km), and a 3.1 mile (5k) run! The park is the transition area for all three legs.
The Duathlon follows the same course excluding the swim, instead it begins with a 1.6 mile run, and will begin when the Triathlon begins.

World Kite Museum features the kites and cultures of a different Asian country. Uniquely shaped & decorated kites and other folk arts are displayed. Videos, demonstrations and hands-on activities are part of both days’ events.
