All the amusement takes place at the Bolstad beach approach in Long Beach, a family-friendly beach destination. The event will be equally delightful for spectators and dog lovers of all ages as playful pooches and their handlers vie for gold, silver and bronze medals in 12 fun-filled events. A Lewis & Clark Seaman Award will be presented to the dog who made the longest trek to the competition. In addition to the canine competitions, there will be information booths and a dog and companion photo opportunity. Pre-registrants are invited to kick off the festivities at a pizza party the previous night, Friday, June 20th. The competitions will run from 12 noon up until 5PM, with registration beginning at 11AM. The $10 handler’s fee will be waived for those registering before June 15th.
