Visit our page on the Long Beach Boardwalk and don’t miss the 8-mile Discovery Trail, which crosses beneath the wooden structure at its half-way mark.

Talk Back!
We want to hear from you

This is NOT Long beach WASHINTON!!, Looks like California to me!!
The Long Beach WASHINGTON Boardwalk is 5th in those showcased on the TODAY Show, Susan. Follow the links – it really is us!
Susan: I work in Long Beach, Washington, and live on the Long Beach Peninsula, and I guarandamtee sure you that boardwalk is 500 feet or so from my office. This is a wild and beautiful place at the edge of the world – I hope you still don’t believe us and come see for yourdelf!
Very glad to see that video, till now i don’t know about that. Thank you for giving such information. I think its a wonderful place for boardwalk. Keep it up.
The boardwalk, about 2150 feet long, and the Discovery Trail, paved and about 8.2 miles long, good for a bike ride, are a must. When visiting Long Beach, I walk the boardwalk at least twice a day, enjoying the sites and sounds of the dunes and the beach. If you stop and look, you may see eagles and deer along the way. The boardwalk has several rest areas where you can stop and have a bite to eat, play a game, or just enjoy the view. It’s a great walk all year around, especially if you enjoy a good winter storm. Great place to watch the fireworks on July 4th or the kites almost any time of the year, but especially the third week of August. Watch the fishing boats in the summer, and the whales in the spring and fall. A truly great place to spend an hour or two.
I really miss living on the Peninsula…even though we have beautiful scenery in Massachusetts…it will never compare to the Peninsula!! Hopefully I will be able to move back some day.
Looks to me like someone didn’t even bother watching the video lol (the picture you are viewing is actually Hollywood, Florida if I remember correctly from the video)
We’re headed to Long Beach for the weekend. So excited!
My wife Denise, myself and our kids absolutely love the Long Beach Penninsula – And the boardwalk/discovery trail is wonderful!
