Who needs wind to fly a kite? Not Long Beach.

The annual Windless Kite Festival brings indoor kite flyers (or choreographers, or dancers, you name it) to Long Beach, Wash., on Jan. 18-20, 2013.

The Indoor kite flying extravaganza, features kites choreographed to music. Some perform solos; others work in pairs while still others create group performance. ‘Hot Tricks Shoot Out’ matches 2 flyers in nearly acrobatic flying.

This was an amazion display of kite flying. The movements of both the kites and the piolets were great to watch. We did not have any idea what indoor kite flying was but it was great and we hope to be able to see it again.
