One of the best venues around, Waikiki Beach offers a stunning backdrop to the twice-monthly summertime concerts. Misty Mamas plays Aug. 12 and Familee Leger plays Aug. 26.

Washington State International Kite Festival, Aug. 21-27, Long Beach.
