Morning Razor Clam digging on the Long Beach Peninsula continues through Friday, April 24. The best time to start digging is 1-2 hours before low tide. Licenses are available at numerous local businesses. Be sure to stop by the Visitors Center for a FREE 2015 Tide Book!

beachclean Beach Clean Up DayThe Grass Roots Garbage Gang organizes three Beach Clean Up Days annually where hundreds of locals & visitors come out to clean our 28 miles of beach. All are welcome; head to a beach approach at 9:30 am on clean up day. Free chowder included! April 25
Black Lake Fishing Derby

Black Lake Fishing Derby

Head to Black Lake in Ilwaco on Saturday, April 25 at 7AM for the Black Lake Fishing Derby. This trout derby is free and open to children up to 14 years old and includes a free pancake breakfast. Prizes will be awarded. You may register online, at Ilwaco City Hall, or at the Derby. All children must be accompanied by an adult. April 25


LIVE @ Sou’wester Lodge

Barn Raising

In celebration of the Northwest Carriage Museum’s newest building addition, there will be a barn raising event featuring live music, tours, beer and wine to purchase and much more, on Saturday, April 25 from 4-7pm. Tickets for members are $5 and non member tickets are $10. Tickets are available at the museum, open daily 10-4. April 25
