Loyalty Days“Up, Up and Away” is the theme for the 65th Annual Loyalty Day celebration. Saturday in Ilwaco kicks off the event, including a kid’s parade which starts at noon at the Port of Ilwaco; Take part in the blessing of the fleet! Participating boats will leave the dock at 1pm. And The Long Beach Elks will host their annual oyster feed at their Lodge in Long Beach from 1 to 4 pm, which is open to the public. |

Surf Perch DerbyThe Surf Perch Derby is back! Head to Bolstad Beach Approach in Long Beach on Saturday, May 2nd. The Registration booth will be open from 5:30AM to 8AM, with a $35 Registration Fee. Registration includes an all you can eat pancake breakfast from 6-11am at the Bolstad Approach. The breakfast is open to the public for $9. |

Saturday Market at the PortThe Saturday Market at the Port of Ilwaco opens May 2 and will be open every Saturday through the end of September from 10 am to 4 pm. Shop for fresh farm produce, regionally created arts and crafts, potted plants and cut flowers. Enjoy delicious bites at the Market, Stroll along the harbor front take in the sights. |

Peninsula Rhodie TourThe Water Music Festival Society presents the Long Beach Peninsula Rhododendron Tour on Saturday, May 2. Enjoy a lecture and breakfast at 10 am at The Shelburne for $15 and includes a presentation by Steve McCormick, John Stephens and Steve Clarke on the Clarke Rhododendron Nursery history. From 11 am to 4 pm, join the tour of five historic gardens and a mapped motor tour of our unique rhodie-rich Peninsula. Garden tour tickets will be on sale the week before the event at The English Nursery in Seaview or at Bay Avenue Gallery in Ocean Park, for $10. Tickets for the breakfast/lecture are only sold online. |
