CATCH IT!: Razor Clams

Razor Clamming

Recreational razor clam digging is a Pacific Northwest tradition perfect for every generation. The Long Beach Peninsula’s razor clam season typically lasts from fall to spring. Razor clam digs are set by the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, and current dig dates are posted on the Funbeach.com homepage. The annual Razor Clam Festival in April celebrates these tasty bivalves with chowder and fritter cook offs, digging lessons and more.
