Now is the time to sweep your loved one off their feet and onto the beach for Valentine’s Day. Don’t have a Valentine? No problem. The LBP is a great place for solo travelers, and you deserve to spoil yourself.

Treat yourself to luxury and old-world decor at the cozy Inn at Harbour Village or stay at the award-winning Boreas Bed & Breakfast Inn, a favorite spot for romance on the Peninsula.

A romantic getaway requires amazing food, and this is your chance to spoil each other. Many of our restaurants take great pride in cuisine featuring locally sourced ingredients and fresh seafood. The Depot Restaurant offers a menu you will dream about long after you’ve returned home as well as a cozy, intimate setting. Dine at [pickled fish] for dishes featuring ingredients from local purveyors, and enjoy a sweeping view of the ocean. Cozy up at the Salt Pub overlooking the Port of Ilwaco and enjoy mouthwatering comfort food. And you won’t want to miss The Cove Restaurant’s incredible lunch menu.
Pick up some homemade pastries at the Cottage Bakery & Deli to share something sweet (note: cash only). Take a scenic drive to Nahcotta for fresh baked goods at Bailey’s Bakery & Cafe on the bay side of the Peninsula. They also serve lunch.
From our silver-sand beaches to the tranquil shores of the Willapa Bay, you can’t go wrong looking for romance against the natural backdrop of the Long Beach Peninsula. It’s nothing short of dreamy.
The beach is beautiful anytime of day, but be sure to catch the sunset. Explore winding paths through grassy dunes as you listen to the waves, or wander down part of the Discovery Trail. Walk along the boardwalk as you share conversations. Watch the fog rise up from the foothills beyond the peaceful Willapa Bay. Visit the lighthouses or watch waves crash against the cliffs at Waikiki Beach at Cape Disappointment State Park. Don’t be afraid to wander.
